Data Access & Portability

In accordance with the EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854), effective from September 12, 2025, we provide full transparency on your rights regarding data processed on commonUX.org.

What Data is covered?

commonUX.org processes the following user-related data:

✶ Interaction data from our UX tools and quiz modules
✶ Usage statistics for gamification (XP, points, badges)
✶ Profile data (voluntarily provided by users)
✶ Logs of AI assistant interactions (e.g., ClausBot, UX CopyCrafter)

These may be personal or pseudonymized data.

Your Data Access Rights

You have the right to:

✶ Request full access to your personal data
✶ Request correction of inaccurate information
✶ Request complete deletion of your data (unless legally retained)
✶ Export your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (data portability)

Soon, you will also find a data export tool in your user profile, allowing download in JSON or CSV formats.

Third-party access

We only share your data:
✶ With your explicit consent (e.g., via AI-powered modules)
✶ When legally required
✶ With processors operating under strict data protection agreements (Art. 28 GDPR)

Interoperability & Formats

Export is currently available via CSV format. REST API access is planned for third-party integration with standard interoperability practices (OpenAPI).
